    Just wanted to say that you’ve hit the nail pretty much on these. Sorry for the late comment, as i am only getting around to listening now. I have a bit over 25 years of GM experience, and I think PJ’s list pretty much sums it up. The only thing I would add, and this is for the moniker i used “GM” instead of “DM”, and that would be don’t be afraid to try new systems. My group always felt it a bit of a refreshment to start something new and different to really refresh the gaming energy.

      Thanks for giving us a listen! And I’d definitely agree with your sentiment. We switched from 3.5 to Pathfinder, and even that change was a bit scary, and those two systems are fairly identical. However, it’s almost always worth it to plow through those feelings of apprehension and try something new!
